DBT skills group is for clients who want to learn practical, research-driven tools they can use daily to reduce suffering and improve their lives.

It takes 6 months to learn all the DBT skills, and clients commit to each 8-week module at a time, covering skills of emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness. DBT skills group meets weekly for 90 minutes. Clients can participate in DBT skills group who are in individual therapy with Dr. Meldon or who have an outside therapist. Clients who are not in individual therapy and want to participate in DBT skills group are welcome on a case-by-case basis.

WHO: Clients 18 years and older who reside in Massachusetts, Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland
